Western boots are also known as Cowboy boots and have gained popularity all over the globe since the mid-1800s. They have gained popularity both among men and women and are a perfect example of comfort, style and durability. Built to last long, western boots comprises of nine primary sections built using fine construction techniques – Shaft, vamp, toe, counter, welt, heel cap, insole, outsole and heel and the boot shank. Apart from cowboy boots western boots have a lot of other varieties such as riding boots, ropers, work boots and fashion boots. They are either made up of full quill ostrich leather, caiman belly leather, or dyed snakeskin leather. Western boots are either D-toe, R-toe, Square-toe, U/W-toe, or J-Toe in shape.
